Show Notes

Dan has been sick for most of last week, made a mosaic with a team logo in it, working on another side table (1 of 9), and working with a client on making a white oak door and frame.

Mike has been finishing up the English elm table, installing some threaded inserts and C-channel in the table, and working on administrative things for possible future jobs and setting up the new shop.

Pete set up his lumber rack in the shed and it fits all his furniture, got caught up on etsy orders and got to pre-pack some of the items, packed the trailer with all the stuff he barely uses to clean up the shop, and he washed and etched the floors in his shop to get them ready for epoxy. Oh and he replaced a toilet.

Money. Money is important and we all want to make it, but what is something you will never build? No matters how much.

What tool is absolutely worth spending the money for?

I’m restoring a black walnut table from the 1880s. And it has a natural look that has lightened with age. I will need to add some wings and need to match the lighter walnut to it. What do you recommend?
